How to create your code

1. Choose a QR code type from the dropdown.
2. Enter your details — the form changes to match the type.
3. Adjust colors, size, margin and error correction if you like.
4. Press Verify to confirm the code decodes, then download PNG or SVG.

What gets stored in the code

A QR code stores the exact text you generate — nothing more. For a URL it holds the link; for Wi-Fi it holds the network name and password in a standard format; for a contact it holds a vCard. There is no tracking layer and no redirect: whatever a scanner reads is exactly what you entered.

Design and scannability

You can restyle the code, but readability comes first. Keep a strong contrast between the foreground and background, leave the quiet-zone margin intact, and avoid very long payloads. Higher error correction (Q or H) adds resilience at the cost of density.

Privacy and security

Everything happens in your browser. Your input never leaves the device, is never logged, and is never sent to an analytics tool. Because these codes are static, they can't be hijacked or repointed later — a reassurance you don't get with dynamic, server-backed QR services.

Limitations

Static codes can't be edited after printing, and they don't collect scan statistics. Extremely long content produces dense codes that small or low-resolution scanners may struggle with. Always test a printed code on a real phone before mass production.
